Pre-dimensioning and coordination with other professionals. The pre-dimensioning in structural engineering involves the initial estimation of the dimensions of structural elements before detailed calculations are made. This allows for a general idea of the structure's behavior and serves as a starting point for detailed design.
Computational tests. Once the project parameters are established, we conduct all necessary tests on computational models to ensure the safety, economy, functionality, and aesthetics of the final structure.
Advanced structural design. We pay special attention to the design of global structural system, structural elements, joints and foundations, as they are the essence of the high-performance systems we design. At the end of the sustainable design process, you will receive 3D digital models, step-by-step installation manuals with corresponding plans, and technical reports if required for construction permit applications.
Prefabricated and physical tests. Once the design process is complete, we prefabricate and assemble the structures in our facilities in Colombia with locally sourced bamboo to conduct the necessary strength tests required by regulations.
Shipping and installation of the prefabricated structure. Finally, we carefully disassemble and pack each structural piece to ensure it reaches its destination in perfect condition. Our technicians can travel to the construction site and assemble the structural system. However, if you prefer to assemble it yourself, it will be as easy as putting together an IKEA piece of furniture.
