About GADWA Bamboo Studio
GADWA Bamboo Studio was founded in Colombia in 2017 by designer Carlos Diaz. What began as an experimental workshop has grown into a respected studio producing furniture, architectural structures and everyday objects — all crafted from Guadua and bamboo.
Their work follows one conviction: that design should connect people to the natural world. Every GADWA piece reflects a clean, rustic-modern minimalism — natural textures, honest materials and finishes that celebrate the bamboo rather than hide it.
Each candle is handmade in small batches using low-impact processes from start to finish — consistent with the studio's philosophy of conscious production.
