Rolled bamboo fencing

We are excited to share our latest product, rolled bamboo fencing: an environmentally friendly, incredibly strong, durable, versatile, and easy-to-install option for fencing made from solid bamboo poles.

In this post, we will share the highlights of bamboo screens, which are perfectly suitable for interior and exterior applications, as well as for décor purposes. With countless uses from restaurant partitions to garden screenings and from bar facades to wainscoting, our bamboo fencing will give a tropical, rustic, and exotic aesthetic with a natural finish to any space.

Bamboo Strip Fences: Our No-Climb fencing options provide privacy and security, along with rich visual texture. Three horizontal bamboo rails are woven with flat bamboo molding to create a tightly packed wall of bamboo. The narrow slats provide very little toehold, meaning fences are very difficult to climb – the slick waxy skin of the bamboo, makes it even more difficult to ascent.

Three interesting facts about bamboo fencing:

1. Environmentally Friendly

Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants – 3 to 5 years to grow & harvest, being a highly renewable material and a prodigious alternative for traditional construction materials, including wood and other non-renewable materials. It is much more sustainable than other materials because it can absorb as much as 12 tones of CO2 per hectare per year and produces more than 35% more oxygen than other trees, giving the plant a potentially crucial role in stabilizing our planet’s atmosphere[1].

2. Strong and Durable

Being a grass, and not a wood, bamboo is stronger than traditional renewable design and constriction materials. With a tensile strength considered stronger than steel, it can be stretched and pulled without breaking, and it can withstand damage from termites and rot over time. With appropriate care, sealing, and staining, bamboo screens can last up to 20 years!

  • Rinse the fence using the power washer.
  • Wait for two days until the bamboo is completely dry.

While the rule of thumb is that fences should be cleaned and sealed one year after installation and then, every two or three years, particular weather conditions may require more often maintenance. Like any other natural product, bamboo will age and may suffer from mold, cracking, or staining. However, cleaning and sealing the fence can easily resolve these issues restoring its beautiful appearance and not affecting its integrity.

Now you know, all you need is to regularly clean and seal your Best Bamboo fence to ensure it looks its best and lasts for longer!
